AUTO RESTART

This function is especially useful during sudden power interruptions and blackouts. When the indoor unit is controlled with the remote controller, the operation mode, the set temperature, and the fan speed are memorized by the indoor electronic control PC board. I FEEL

Fuzzy Logic "I Feel" control allows you to adjust room temperature more precisely with a simple touch of a button. INVERTER TECHNOLOGY

By controlling compressor rotation speed precisely, the innovative inverter technology on Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners offers exceptional air conditioning performances-high-speed cooling and heating, temperature fluctuation detection while reduced power consumption for extra energy savings in any and all applications.

High-Speed Cooling & Heating: Ideal and comforting performance is assured by controlling compressor rotation according to the cooling and heat load of a room. Inverter technology promotes maximum compressor efficiency by flexibly changing the rotation speed to accurately match operating requirements. For example, during the winter season when outside temperatures are low, compressor rotation speed is set at a speed that is 1.5 times faster than conventional models for more rapid and higher heating performance. This means that the desired temperature can be reached much more quickly.

Extra Energy Savings: Inverter technology controls the electrical current frequency to the compressor according to the cooling and heat load of a room for optimum performance. Frequency is automatically lowered on AC inverter models when less power is required to reduce the consumption of electricity remarkably by up to 30% (compared to non-inverter models).

Optimum Comfort Year-round: To ensure that a room is never too cold or too hot, inverter technology allows the air conditioner to detect subtle fluctuations in room temperature and adjust automatically. Unlike conventional air conditioning units that must start or stop repetitively, inverter units offer finely tuned operation - such as the accurate control of compressor rotation - for a more comforting airflow and far less temperature variations.

The layout of the heat exchanger design has been modified to make airflow smoother, while an increased fan diameter produces a larger airflow volume at lower fan speeds. The pitch between each fan blade has also been altered to reduce annoying noise and the new dual-vane system acts to significantly decrease air resistance for a more uniform airflow. The sound level for the MS09TW is 26dB(A) on low fan speed. That's quiet!
